The "Pear Valley Assisted Living and Memory Care" facility by Dustrud Architecture is a two story assisted living facility and a single story memory are facility connected by a Porte Cochere.  In order for the building to meet the maximum square footage requirements for VB building type, the assisted living building is broken up into separate buildings with 2 hr firewalls per the building code.
